Meet Our Staff

Staff at Nature’s Place Early Learning Center have 50 combined years of experience in the field of early care and education! We strive to be the best we can and offer high quality care and programming to your children and families, while keeping a home-like feel to our care and environment.

Staff are thoroughly background checked through state, and federal registries (including fingerprinting), certified in First Aid and CPR, and annually complete state required professional development hours, often achieving above the minimum requirement (which keep staff up-to-date with current knowledge and trends)!

Additionally, staff are encouraged to complete trainings specific to Loose-parts and Nature Based play and learning, as these concepts are the foundation and focus of our center.

Our staff follows policies for ethics, confidentiality, and child abuse reporting.

Working with your child or children is truly our privilege!

We Make Memories

Ms. Monica

Monica has lived in Nottingham for 25 years with her husband, raising their family.  She has 2 adult children, Sam and Nicole, and has been in the field of early care and education for almost 30 years.  She has 3 dogs - Flint, Gauge and Mauser and 2 cats - Oscar and Wilsun.

In 2020 she achieved her dream by partnering and purchasing a childcare program, Nature’s Place ELC.  Monica holds a Bachelor of Science in early education, loves teaching through nature, play and loose parts and really enjoys helping others learn about early education.  In her free time, Monica loves to be outside, reading, or crafting (which often includes making lovely things for the center).

Ms. Stephanie

Stephanie lives in Center Barnstead with her husband and 2 beautiful daughters, Hope and Mercedes, her dog, Shiloh and 2 cats, Ollie and Mario.  Stephanie graduated from Manchester Community College 3 years ago with her associates degree in early childhood, but has enjoyed many successes of the field 6 years; though she has been working with children for over 15 years.

In December of 2020, Stephanie took on a new adventure in her life when she partnered and purchased a childcare program – Natures Place ELC. Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, playing softball in the spring and summer and spending lots of time outdoors.

Ms. Abbie

Ms. Abbie

Abbie, a sophomore at UNH, works at Nature’s Place as a Childcare Assistant.  Working in childcare has been her only job which she really loves!

Abbie lives in town with her family that includes her 2 horses and puppy and plans on going to college for education and animal sciences next year.  Ms. Abbie is a super team player and she has her own cheering squad each day when she arrives to play!

Ms. Sam

Sam has been childcare assistant for a year now! She is full-time hairdresser and esthetician for a busy salon and spa in Concord.  In her free time, Sam loves hiking, snowmobiling, and spending time with her dog, Ruger.

Her favorite thing about working with children is getting to see the growth in each child every week.

Ms. Mickey

Mickey started as a substitute in April of 2022 and quickly fell in love with Nature's Place, our kids and their families.  Mickey is currently working on her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counselling from Plymouth State University.

Mickey lives in Laconia with her finance, Troy, their three dogs, Leo, Winni, and Rhea as well as their two cats Phineas and Ferb.  When Mickey is not at work or school she loves to hike, craft watch Disney movies and be around or in the water, the lake or ocean, it doesn't matter as long as she can feel the water on her toes!

Ms. Savannah

Savannah joined Nature's Place in December of 2022 as a Lead Teacher and has been an amazing addition to our team!  She is currently an Early Childhood Bachelor Degree student at SNHU.  She lives in Epsom with her boyfriend, Jeremy and her lab puppy sibling, Nala and Bruin.  When not at school Savannah loves to Cheer, play Lacrosse and fish.

Ms. Amanda

Amanda joined the Nature's Place team in July of 2022, as her son Thomas was attending the center and she was looking to make a career change.  Amanda lives in Barrington with her son and boyfriend, Tylor.  When she is not at work, Amanda truly enjoys the Spooky Season!
